Investigators and officers with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources have made at least two arrests in a series of animal poaching cases because of a tip hotline. One of the cases involved the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

Thousands Of Game Birds Being Released In Utah

This week, personnel from the Division of Wildlife Resources are working with volunteers to release more than 10,000 pheasants across Utah. This effort will supply birds for the 2017 pheasant hunt.

The Utah Department of Natural Resources and the Division of Wildlife Resources renewed their Hunter Access Agreement with the State of Utah School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration. The contract keeps 3.4 million acres of Utah trust lands open to hunters and anglers as well as those interested in viewing wildlife.

  The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources added Kokanee Salmon to Jordanelle Reservoir Monday. 

For the first time in Utah history, Kokanee Salmon will be part of the fish species at Jordanelle Reservoir.
