A Utah teenager has died after being struck by two cars, one of which pinned him to the ground.
Syracuse Police said Tuesday in a news release that that 15-year-old Dakota Kilburn died Tuesday morning from injuries he suffered in the Monday night incident.
Police say Kilburn was in a crosswalk when he was hit by a southbound vehicle. The impact threw him into the path of a car heading north, which pinned him.
Police say bystanders lifted the car off of the boy and a medical helicopter flew him to the hospital.
No one else was injured and police are still investigating.
