The Postal Service Is Reminding Voters To Send In Ballots Early

Today is the last day for Utahns to register to vote for the upcoming Nov. 8 general election. At the same time, many countries, including Cache County are holding mail-in only elections.

Voting has already begun in many states across the U.S. with early and mail-in voting.

The U.S. Postal Service is responsible for the delivery of thousands of mail-in ballots.

A new PSA from the Post Office is reminding voters to send in their ballots early.

“The postal service has worked closely with election officials and is more prepared for this election than for any in history," said Ron Sroman, Deputy Post Master General of the United States. "We strongly recommend mailing your ballots in a week before your state deadline to ensure timely delivery."

To register online visit Vote.utah.gov. You’ll need your driver’s license. The street address you list on your voter registration must be the same as the address where you currently live.
