Pet Health and Happiness on Tuesday's Access Utah

There has been a lot of debate recently about how to get the right health care for you and your family, but what about one of the most important members of the family, your pet? Dr. Melinda Hillegass from Mountain View Veterinary Health Center in Logan will answer your pet health & care questions. We’re also inviting you to share a picture and message about your pet on our Utah Public Radio Facebookpage. We’ll share your message during the program and invite listeners to view your picture on Facebook.

Dr. Hillegass graduated from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 1995.  She practiced on the West Coast, in Portland and Washington, before buying Mountain View Veterinary Health Center in 1997. The Mountain View Veterinary Health Center uses Western Veterinary Medicine and also offers chiropractic, acupuncture and herbal treatment for large, small and exotic animals.

Tom Williams worked as a part-time UPR announcer for a few years and joined Utah Public Radio full-time in 1996. He is a proud graduate of Uintah High School in Vernal and Utah State University (B. He is interested in just about everything and loves to engage people in conversation, so you could say he has found the perfect job as host “Access Utah.” He and his wife Becky, live in Logan.
