No Injuries in Wellsville Plane Crash

There were no injuries when a single-engine plane crashed near Wellsville Saturday afternoon.

Lynn Goodsell, pilot, and four others were aboard and were attempting to fly over the Wellsville Mountains when  the plane experienced problems with the fuel system according to a press release from the Cache County Sheriff's Office.

The engine shut down, and Goodsell had to make an emergency landing in a field covered with about two feet of snow. During the landing the front wheel of the plane dug into the ground and caused the plane to flip over. Homeowners in the area responded on snowmobiles, but all passengers evacuated themselves.
