Kanab Non-Profit Selected for Toyota's 100 Cars for Good

Kanab-based Healing Heart Sanctuary is one of only 2 Utah non-profit organizations that has been selected this year as a finalist in Toyota's 100 Cars for Good program, a major philanthropic initiative in which the automaker is giving 100 cars to 100 non-profit charities over the course of 100 days. Healing Heart Sanctuary was selected as a finalist from more than 4,000 applications nationwide.

The focus of the Sanctuary is to help children and animals get back on their feet. UPR's Brianna Bodily talked with Laura Bradshaw, the Founder and Director of Healing Heart, about the organization's mission and about their nomination for the Cars for Good program.

Brianna’s passion for journalism comes from a love of learning and a desire to know everything. She studies Broadcast Journalism and Political Science at Utah State University and hopes one day to travel the world reporting hard news. She also works as the Aggie Radio news director and a reporter for USU TV.
