Utah State University Prehistoric Museum

 

  

  Recently a prehistoric museum in Price received a significant permanent collection of archeological artifacts.The collection is made up of various everyday items the Fremont people used. The collection first started in the 1920's with the Ephraim T. and Dorothy Pectol family. Since then, the collection resided in Capitol Reef National Park, Brigham Young University and Temple Square until becoming a permanent collection at Utah State University Eastern’s Prehistoric Museum.

Band Uses Roots to Create Alternative Western Rock

A Pennsylvania State University assistant arts education professor wrote an article about the history of funding for the National Endowment for the Arts.  Aaron Knochel said the current conservative administration is not the first in history to consider cuts to federally funded arts programs. 

Virtual Walking Tours Feature USU Sculptures

The Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art has a virtual walking tour of more than a dozen sculptures found throughout the Utah State University Logan campus. The tour illuminates the meaning behind various statues seen regularly by students and the local community.
