See what it's like to run a public radio station. Volunteer during UPR's Fall Pledge Drive and enjoy the good life hanging out in volunteer central eating amazing donated food, watching the antics in the control room, and hopefully answering the phones and talking to our friendly new members.
Sign up for an hour or two between October 10 - 17.
Most of us live with dues and deadlines. Utah Public Radio is no different. As we near the end of our fiscal year, our bills come due to NPR and other sources that bring you the news and music you value. Everything you hear on UPR is made possible with your financial support.
Donate today and help us continue providing you with the UPR news, information, and arts & entertainment you love.
Show your support for Utah Public Radio this summer. When you're out and about in the state look for fellow UPR listeners. You'll recognize them by their "I Listen to UPR" window stickers. Snap a photo (preferably at a stop light, or better yet, have a passenger take the photo), post it to our Facebook page and we'll enter you in a drawing for a UPR prize.
We're seeking a Special Events and Online Auction Development Officer. The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating special events and online auctions to increase station income and visibility of the UPR Network statewide.
UPR listeners, please join us in wishing strength and peace for our Moab correspondent, Vicki Barker, as she faces a very immediate battle with cancer. She has brought Moab to life for us on the airwaves and the void of her voice will not soon be filled.
Join us between 6 and 9 p.m. this Friday, April 13, as Utah Public Radio will be a part of the annual Gallery Walk, hosted by Cache Valley Center for the Arts. Stroll through our downtown studio at 43 S. Main Street, looking at artist Trent Gudmundsen's exhibit Women and Children, while listening to guitarist Robert Linton. Refreshments will be provided by Auntie Em's Cakes for All Occasions and Culligan Water. To learn more about the artists we will be showcasing at our stop on the Gallery Tour, you can visit their websites.
Congratulations to Scott Theurer, Tim Taylor, and Steve Lineback, who all made pledges of support to Utah Public Radio this morning and each won a 2-night stay for 2 at the Shooting Star Drive-in in Escalante, UT!
