The Utah Department of Transportation will hold a public open house and accompanying public hearing for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement on proposed recommendations for highway improvements to the Valley View Highway.
The events will take place Wednesday at Logan City Hall.
The public is invited to attend the open house between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. The public hearing will be from 6-7 p.m.
The proposed work will be on State Road 30, from 1000 West (SR-252) to SR-23.
Department officials say another project, which is still in the design and property acquisition phases, will take place on State Route 198 between Spanish Fork and Salem. The project will increase the two-lane road to four lanes with a center-turn lane, bike lanes and a multi-use trail on the side.
