Law enforcement in Southern Utah is still on the lookout for a suspect in the aggravated robbery and sexual assault of the woman near Kanarraville.

The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon. The female victim was showing a male subject a building lot in a remote mountain subdivision south of cedar city when she was suddenly attacked.

The suspect produced a weapon during the assault. The victim was eventually able to break free and run to a home about a half-mile away to obtain help.
It appears robbery and sexual assault was the motive.

The suspect is described as a stocky white male in his mid-thirties with square jaw and a deep voice.  The car driven by the suspect is a white Subaru outback with California plates, front end damage and tinted rear windows.

Kanarraville is a small town on Old U.S. Highway 91, between Cedar City and Hurricane.
