The Power Of Listening On Monday's Access Utah

Nov 24, 2013

StoryCorps promotes the day after Thanksgiving as a National Day of Listening, calling listening the least expensive but most meaningful gift you can give this holiday season.

On Monday’s Access Utah we’ll talk about the power of listening and present stories from Utah Downwinder Michelle Thomas; former NPS Ranger Greer Cheshire; and Wilma Angius, a 93 year old woman who died within 48 hours of recording a stunning account of her life for StoryCorps in southern Utah earlier this year. Our guests will include former StoryCorps facilitator Lisa Polito; and psychotherapist and amateur oral historian Martha Ham, who says that “stories change us.” We’ll invite you to share your story.
