Hope and Inspiration for Better Air Quality on Access Utah Tuesday

Credit www.parkcitygreen.org

Many Utahns are getting frustrated with what they see as slow and ineffective progress toward solving our air pollution problem.

A Clean Air Rally is planned for Tuesday afternoon in Logan ahead of an expected decision on emissions testing from the Cache County Council.

On Tuesday’s Access Utah we’re going to look for inspiration and lessons from a community which solved its seemingly intractable environmental problem.

Our guests will include Ron Blatman, producer of “Saving the Bay,”  a documentary film which tells the story of three women who ignited a movement which led to the clean-up of San Francisco Bay.  We’ll also talk with Cherise Udell, founder of Utah Moms for Clean Air, and Mark Blaiser, Executive Director of the Bear River Watershed Council.
