The summer concert season is in full swing, and here’s a list of what’s happening when: Ray Wylie Hubbard at the State Room on August 7th, Donna the Buffalo at the Newtown Park Center in Park City on August 8th, Erykah Badu at the Twilight Concert Series on August 8th, Josh Ritter at the State Room on August 13th, Lyle Lovett at Deer Valley on August 17th, JD Souther at the Egyptian Theater in Park City on Aug 23rd and 24th, Jewel with Lucy Wainwright Roche at Deer Valley on August 24th, the Ogden Roots and Blues Festival takes place Aug 24th-25th with The Wood Brothers and Betty Lavette headlining, Dave Matthews Band at USANA on August 27th, Mickey Hart at Park City Live on Sept 13th, and Tab Benoit at the Egyptian Theater on Sept 13th and 14th, Diana Krall at Kingsbury Hall on Sept 24th, and Gordon Lightfoot at the Dee Events Center on Sept 26th. Red Butte Garden’s season continues with: Steve Miller Band on August 7th, Steely Dan on August 10th, Michael Franti on August 18th, John Prine on August 20th, Buddy Guy on August 27th, the Black Crowes on Sept 15, and Neko Case on Sept 16th. In Logan, Windy Hill bluegrass band does a house concert on August 8th, the Beaver Mt Music Festival takes place August 17th, and Cindy Novelo does a show at Crumb Brothers on August 17th.
