Hi, this is Blair Larsen, host of Fresh Folk. On the show this week, I feature the new orchestral recording from Mary Chapin Carpenter, and the emotional new album from Cosy Sheridan. In Ogden, the Ogden Bluegrass and Acoustic Music Festival is set for May 30 through June 1 at Fort Buenaventura, with Delia Mae, The Steel Wheels, The Duhks and Alejandro Escovedo scheduled to perform. In Logan, Hal Cannon and Larry Eller present songs of the West on April 12th at the Whittier Center, Danny Shafer plays at Crumb Brothers on April 26th, and Jeff Brinkman plays at Crumb Brothers on May 17th.
