Discussing Last Week's Shooting in Ogden

Tuesday, January 10

The death of Ogden police officer Jared Francom and wounding of five other members of the Weber-Morgan Narcotics Strike Force last Wednesday has shocked and saddened Utahns and reminded us of the high cost sometimes paid to protect our communities.

We'll talk about the Ogden shootings on Tuesday's Access Utah. We'll get the latest news from Nate Carlisle of the Salt Lake Tribune and Tim Gurrister of Ogden's Standard Examiner. We'll also talk to Frank Smith, Utah's DEA agent, Brad Slater, Cache County Sheriff Cheif Deputy, and Robert Kirby, former Salt Lake Tribune columnist and police officer, who authored the book End of Watch: Utah’s Murdered Police Officers, 1858 to 2003.
