Cedar City Homicide Suspect Arrested In Colorado

Early Sunday morning, police were called to a Cedar City trailer park on a report of shots fired.  They found 34-year-old Justin Hanna dead from an apparent gunshot wound.  The fugitive wanted in case has been apprehended, and so have 3 others for allegedly assisting his flight from justice.

Witnesses identified 27-year-old Mark Mair as the perpetrator.  Investigators searched a motel room in Cedar City and a residence in Panguitch, without locating Mair.  But they did obtain information that led them to believe that 19-year-old Elcha Hatch was the female who drove the getaway car.

Additionally, police believed that Hatch’s mother, Michelle Partridge and Robert Schexnayder assisted Mair and Hatch flee to Grand Junction Colorado. Schexnayder's vehicle was located yesterday evening near Green River, Utah. Both Schexnayder and Partridge were taken into custody.

A search for Hatch and Mair continued in Grand Junction. They were located late Sunday night by Grand Junction Police. Hatch was arrested on a warrant for obstruction of justice; Mair for aggravated murder, and other charges.
