Canyons Superintendent Resigns http://upr.org/post/canyons-superintendent-resigns <p>The superintendent of the Canyons School District has announced his resignation.</p><p></p><p>David Doty told school board members Tuesday night he’ll step down at the end of June to take a job with the Utah-based education reform company, Education Direction.</p><p>Doty has been superintendent since 2008 when the district was created and split from the Jordan School District. While people panicked, police tried to make sense of what just happened and prevent any other explosions.<br><br>According to the Boston Marathon website, more than 350 runners registered for Monday's race were Utahns.
